25 minutes by Ferry. That's it. Ailah was a bit cranky but we worked through it! Once we got on the Ferry we barely had enough time to go the the bathroom, grab a map, a snack and take a few pics before the Island was in site. We had this really cute place by the water in mind for lunch, and after waiting 10 minutes for someone to greet us they had to inform us that the power on the whole Island was down and that no one was serving food! We found a small coffee shop that offered us a 7 dollar warm sandwich, then later found a grocery store that was working on a generator and got some more snacks for lunch. We decided to make a picnic out of it and headed to Sandy Beach. Ailah had fun playing in the sand as we relaxed on the blanket by the water. What a pretty spot and great view! Sweet tooth buddies had some ice cream while we sat in the Ferry line. 25 min later we were back on land.
